Welcome to the 2011-2012 Season

This season will be an exciting one as this coming summer is an Olympic year! It is a great time to be involved in swimming with all of the enthusiasm and energy going on!

A little about me

This is my 4th year at Dynamo. I have been coaching Age Group 3 (Gold) since my start, and this year coaching Senior 3 and Home School Gold as well. I am originally from Ohio where I got my start in coaching as it were thanks to be surrounded by swimming from a young age. I graduated from Youngstown State University in 2006 with a BS in Exercise Science and minored in Psychology, where I also was a 4 yr letterman on the varsity team. In 2008, I graduated from James Madison University with a MS in Kiniesiology. Before coaching at Dynamo, I had coached with Martins Ferry Summer Swim Team, Trumbull County YMCA, Penguins Swim Club, Youngstown State University (volunteer), Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania (volunteer), and Valley Area Swim Team. During this time I have worked the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Clinic in Ohio, Lock Haven Univeristy swim clinic in PA, and 3 summers at the Longhorn Swim Camp at the University of Texas. I am an ASCA level 2 certified coach, and love reading and learning all there is to the sport!
